FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO WANTED TO KNOW HOW I DID THIS :

The sun was almost down, but there was a little bit of light left (just before dark).
I just set my camer on AV mode, which is shutter speed priority, you choose the shutter speed, the camera chooses everything else. Of course you could set everything manually if you so choose.
I set my camera on the tripod & chose 30 seconds for the shutter speed.
I stood in each of these three positions for a few seconds, which is why there is a blur between the me's, from me walking.

That's it... This is all one exposure, no combining in Photoshop. :-)

Trapped

claustrophobia- fear of being trapped in an inescapable place or situation.

I have a phobia of being trapped, being anywhere that I can't get out of. I don't go in elevators and I don't even really like being in other people's cars. Feeling trapped whether it's physical or mental gives me serious anxiety....

For my Dad

My Dad is the best! I don't see him as often as I should, because we are both really busy, but he is the greatest dad there is...

My Dad is a great inspiration, I love him so much, and I'm thankful that he always gave me guidance while letting me lead my own way, I'm thankful for him inspiring me to be a photographer, and to excell at school, I'm thankful that my Dad passed on his artistic genes, and that it's a love that we both share. Thanks Dad, you are the best! I love you.

This was SO much harder than I thought it was going to be!! I'm not really happy with it...

The coolest thing...

...just happened!! I had my sliding glass door cracked with my camera peeking up at the sky, trying to take some lightning photos (hopeless) & this guy landed right on my lens!! I stuck my finger out and he walked right onto it!!! He hung out with me for a while, and even let me do a little photo shoot! How cool! I think this is a moth, but it was ridiculously beautiful!
His belly is amazing too & orange!

Long day today, but a good one. I bought my very first brand new car, Yay! For everybody who wanted to know, I left behind a '98 broken down civic for my brand new Mercedes Benz CLK350!!! Haha, yeah right... I just bought a new Hyundai i30... and it's got plenty of luxury for me, I love it!!!

Warming up!

This morning my boyfriend and I saw this little guy swimming in the deep end of his swimming pool. Mickaël fished him out with a net & put him in the grass. The poor thing must have been completely exhausted; he just kind of plopped on the ground and started shaking and panting... so I ran in and got him a towel & my camera (of course). We dried him off and tried to give him some seeds & nuts, and he stayed with us outside for about an hour. He was soooo cute!! I've never seen a chipmunk so close, they're adorable!
